EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The recent civil crises in Ivory Coast and Liberia, plus numerous civil wars in other African countries has resulted in the massive displacement of millions of Africans in and out of their homeland, complicated with the destruction of lives and properties. Having come from Africa due to these civil wars in our countries, we came and enrolled in learning institution of all level across the United States; where we have seen so much growth, both with our studies as well as our personality. Since we came to the United States, we have faced many challenges, learning the ropes of living in the world most advance country. One example that reflects the difficulties of our situation is the change of lifestyle. Schoolwork posed an additional challenge, with the desire to improved our english language skills as well as perform well in other academic areas. Due to many misunderstandings as well as other expected issues, we find it necessary to stay in school of all level until we graduate with the help offered by our school supporting staffs. However, because we know that getting an education is the only way to succeed in our various countries, we are determined to remain in school in order to earn our degrees. At this time, we have come together as a team of students from parts of the U.S researching information on educational intervention programs for students of Africa.

These situations caused our rural and urban indigent people many setbacks that have incapacitated them from being able to produce their own food, and provide for their children education, therefore forcing them to solemnly survive on hand outs and relief aids. In the same vein, post war developmental projects are being carried out in countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone. These projects are slow but gradual processes that are being halted, thereby abrogating almost all social institutions, which include educational activities in these countries. Notwithstanding, education in post conflict Rwanda, Ivory Coast, and Congo, just to name a few, could gain momentum given the required materials and technical support they deserve. Simultaneously, EEMPA has vowed significant contributions to the on-going reintegration and rehabilitation process in these African nations. The furnishes of educational materials, supplies, and facilities may considerably improve the educational development of these nations. In conclusion, the need for intervention is crucial, and the time for action is now.

                              Focus and Purpose of EEPMA:

EEPMA knows that running a nonprofit organization is never easy. However, building an effective website can often make a huge difference in increasing donations, contributions, and charity gifts. We will use this site to provide background of our organization, and explain the services we have to offer the students of war torn and underdevelop mother Africa. People do not want to spend time figuring out what a nonprofit organization does, so our website will highlight the most important features of both our organization and our provided services.

This is where you can learn about EEPMA organization and its history. We have been interested in starting this nonprofit for many years and are excited to finally have reached that goal. Taking our nonprofit to the web makes the process even more exciting.

Many sponsors and contributers would like to know about EEPMA, and the people behind this organization that generously devote their time to accomplishing the vision and mission of this organization. Here we will tell you a little about ourselves and our nonprofit organization.

The "pillars" of EEPMA are the tangible members that devote their time, energy, and wisdom to the uplifiting of this organization.  These members are valuable, dedicated, and are reliable resources that this organization is grateful to have. We hope you will enjoy visiting our web site and always remember that if you educated one child, you are making the world a better place for you and your generations to come.
